DJANGO - A homage to the guitarist Django Reinhardt

Designed and produced with Jean Louis Berthet and UNIK.
Gipsy Django Reinhardt (1910-1953) is still the greatest jazz guitarist in the world. He was almost killed by a fire on his caravan, but was finally rescued and was in a coma for several days. As a result, two fingers of his left hand were permanently paralysed and he developed wonderfully novel techniques for playing the guitar that few guitarists could successfully imitate.
Despite his worldwide reputation, playing billiards was the most important thing for him!
To pay homage to this unique artist, Jean Louis Berthet wanted to dedicate this unique billiard table to him.
In collaboration with the furniture company UNIK, we created the first tables of this limited edition, which was installed in Moods, Monaco's newest lounge bar of the Société des Bains de Mer.
Cylindrical legs in light polished stainless steel, solid wood rails, integrated ball return system, metal frame and signed by the creators: This model is the image of the artist whom we pay homage to for being innovative and perfectionist.
